Born in Tampa Bay, FL and raised in Atlanta, David’s long-time love of music led him to study trumpet performance at the University of Georgia. Throughout college and after graduating, David performed on trumpet at hundreds of wedding ceremonies and receptions. Witnessing an enormous lack of quality & professionalism from most of today’s DJ’s, David decided to couple his passion for music with his love of A/V production. Reception Entertainment Direction is a natural fit for David: besides music, he also has a strong background in production, customer-service, public-speaking and entertainment for all ages. Within months of founding Sound Insight Productions, David was already earning the reputation as the “anti-dj.” DJfor his elegant, cheese-free style.
