FAQ
Can you guarantee game broadcast?
Yes: with conditions. We use a satellite dish + DISH subscription so we’re not relying on overloaded campus LTE. That gives us a clean satellite feed. We also bring an internet-based backup. As long as the game is available on TV in the Athens market (no blackout) and we have a clear view of the southern sky for the dish, we can get it. Severe weather, line-of-sight issues, venue restrictions, or last-minute network changes are the only things that can get in the way. We set up early and verify the channel on-site.
What’s your weather policy?
Safety and performance first. We strongly recommend tented coverage for outdoor tailgates. We bring TV rain covers, a 10×10 tent for the DJ position, and protective tarps, which make light, brief showers manageable. Torrential rain, lightning, high winds, or standing water will impact (or pause) service for safety and equipment protection. If it’s weather you wouldn’t want to stand in, our gear shouldn’t be out in it either. We’ll work with you to relocate under cover, reduce the setup, or hold until conditions improve.
What are setup/teardown details?
Our packages cover an 8-hour service window: typically 4 hours pre-game + 4 hours during the game. We include ~2 hours of setup before guest arrival and ~1 hour for strike after the event. Due to campus traffic and access rules, we require one on-site parking spot for our truck. Two trained team members are on site for every tailgate.
Do we need a permit?
Rules depend on location. On UGA campus, tailgating generally can’t start before 7:00 a.m. on Saturdays, and North Campus bans TVs, generators, amplified music, and grills; some areas (e.g., Intramural Fields) have additional limits or do not allow tailgating. Off campus on Athens-Clarke County public streets/sidewalks/public spaces typically requires following ACC rules/permits.
Private lots/venues near campus usually allow setups with owner approval and compliance with posted lot rules. We’ll help you confirm what’s allowed at your spot; you secure the location/permissions and share the details with us so we can plan accordingly.
How do you handle cable runs and power?
We prefer venue/building power for stability and low noise, and we’ll confirm the circuit needs in advance. If shore power isn’t available, we can supply a quiet inverter generator (fuel included) as a paid add-on. Cable runs are routed along edges and behind equipment, taped/secured, and never across primary walkways when avoidable; if a crossing is required, we use ADA-compliant cable ramps. All connections are weather-rated and GFCI-protected for safety.
Do you offer catering, furniture, or design?
We focus on Video & Vibes (TVs, DJ, selfie station, power) and do not supply food/beverage, rentals, or décor. However, we work closely with a trusted industry partner who handles catering, lounge/tent furniture, linens, florals, and design. If you’d like, we’ll introduce you, share your specs, and coordinate timelines so setup flows smoothly with our AV.
